Help meet our challenge

Christine E. Lynn University Center

Christine E. Lynn, Lynn University board of trustees chair, has donated $15 million for a new university center that will bear her name. This gift is the largest in university history and empowers Lynn University to accomplish its Lynn 2020 strategic objectives two years early.

Reflecting Lynn University’s core values as a vibrant, energetic campus, the Christine E. Lynn University Center will combine social, learning and dining spaces in one magnificent facility that serves students day and night.

The center will stand at the exact geographic heart of campus, and like a heart, it will drive the pulse of campus, enhancing the experience of every person at Lynn—students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors.

A major feature will be a large central “living room” for informal gatherings and presentations. Envisioned for the center’s northeast corner, this area will include expansive glass windows, allowing students walking by to see all the activity inside and be enticed to join in.

The center will be home to Lynn’s award-winning 24-hour dining as well as other dining and common spaces. Other important areas will include collaboration rooms, a campus store, a mailroom, a coffee shop, student government and activities rooms, outdoor patios, and student affairs offices.

Along with future residential spaces such as the newly announced Mary and Harold Perper Residence Hall, the Christine E. Lynn University Center will help Lynn increase student residency, thereby driving campus density and engagement for the eventual enrollment of approximately 3,000 residential students.
