Lynn Pianist Kosminov Prize-Winner in Gershwin Competition

Pianist Vladislav Kosminov was a prize-winner in the G. Gershwin International Music Competition this past weekend.  The event took place in Brooklyn, New York on May 2  and Kosminov placed third in the competition.  Kosminov completes his Professional Performance Certificate in the Conservatory at LYNN this spring and is a member of the studio of Roberta Rust.  He was accepted for study at the International Music Center at Park University in Kansas for the fall to study with Van Cliburn Competition Gold Medal winner Stanislav Ioudenitch.
