Snyder Sanctuary cemented on the Lynn University campus

This month saw improved progress on the Snyder Sanctuary, most notably with the addition of cement. The multi-faith facility, which celebrated its ground-breaking in March, is anticipated to open in the fall. Read more.

Construction continues on International Business Center

Construction continues at a steady pace on the International Business Center (IBC). The building, which will be three stories when finished, is expected to be completed by the fall. Right now construction crews are fitting the glass panels surrounding the building. Read more.

Lynn University’s Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center, the site of the 2012 final presidential debate, is being recognized as an “amazing” center. Lynn University dedicates on-campus Central Energy Plant

With the new addition of an on-campus Central Energy Plant, Lynn University will now be able to reduce its energy consumption by 612,000 kilowatts a year, which is the equivalent of taking 90 cars off the road for a year. Read more

At a recent board of trustees meeting, President Kevin M. Ross announced that Chairwoman Christine E. Lynn, has made a gift of $500,000 to the university. This is the first gift in honor of the celebration of Lynn University’s upcoming 50th anniversary, 2012-2103.  Read more

Olewine funds new back entrance, nature preserve

Longtime friend of Lynn University, Benjamin Olewine III of Harrisburg, Pa., and Boca Raton, Fla., has pledged $1 million to create a new entrance to the university on Potomac Road and a back perimeter road that will include the relocation of the existing nature preserve to the western edge of campus. Endowed professorship makes Lynn history

Ralph Norcio, associate dean and professor of finance and accounting in Lynn’s College of Business and Management, was awarded the university’s first-ever endowed professorship thanks to a generous $1.5 million gift from the Homer and Martha Gudelsky Family Foundaton.  Read more

400 year old Breeches Bible donated

Lynn University is grateful to Tina Zegas, mother of Leah Zegas '12, for her donation of a Breeches Bible. This 400-year-old Bible, printed in 1603, is now permanently housed in the E.M. Lynn Library and makes a welcomed addition to the university’s core curriculum, Dialogues of Learning.   Read More
